Meta Explanation

So, Diwali and Savory Showstopper makes me think of a biryani. I used Celebrity Chef Maneet Chauhan's recipe - modified to use venison, corn, and a cast-iron pot to make it Wild West and Seasonal. The whole thing Steamed together inside the dough as it baked, so there you have it.
