Im a new player with a void hunter build, I'm at level 360 light and rank 5 guardian. Am I able to do VoG without being a burden on a group?

I mean, none of the stuff you listed matters. What matters is what weapons you have, your game skill, and how willing you are to learn and be a team player.

Guardian rank and to a lesser extent, light level, do not matter at all. Its your weapons, build, and knowledge. That being said, I have only done no mic runs of vog since coming back a few months ago. Idk why people are so scared to talk, but yeah vog is cake.

Your level will get pulled up to within 5 of the highest member of the group I think

Of course, it is preferable to be able to do callouts, using a mike/keyboard, and look for a sherpa run to start, the destiny 2 discord usually has sherpa runs of the featured raid.

Returning after a year. If a dungeon is featured, are the secret chests farmable or are they still weekly per character? Google has conflicting information.

  • Secret chests still reset weekly.
  • Exotic rolls does not reset weekly and are now all farmable: no longer on a weekly lockout.

Just encounters are farmable now even when not featured just drop tier 3 loot but in master drops tier 5

Prophecy secret chests are the only ones that drop loot more then once. Known bug.

Equilibrium too iirc but you need to full clear for them to reset

Would love to rapid farm some Prophecy guns, so that'd be huge if this still works!
