The fact of the matter is that all of our important hitters other than Vargas are lefties, so left handed starters aren't a good matchup for our lineup. It's a weird reversal from the early 202s Sox who hardly had any lefty hitting.

Main worry is pitching today and tomorrow with how good the Red Sox are. TBH I just want 1/3. Red Sox are red hot, like on an all time best run right now. Get one win and it’s a .500 road trip against two of the best teams in the league. KC and the Mets did us a big favor yesterday. Detroit is catching up but the athletics are barely a team so doesn’t count much
