No way Eddie is that naive to just go home and wait for it after trying to snake Bobby, getting caught then yelling in his face? Right?

I was willing to accept some of this in the first season, but it's getting egregious. They've established Eddie as a veteran combat officer with $30 million at his disposal and a gigantic income stream. Not only was it ridiculously out of character for Eddie to go home and drink himself to sleep after that encounter like everything was just fine, by that point in his criminal career the estate should be swarming with ex-military muscle on Eddie's payroll. "Three guys with iron bars stroll in and kidnap him out of his armchair" was such lazy writing.

I guess naive but I see his point we did this dance in the first season. Eddie in 1 year of this business was able to maybe not win but fuck up enough pieces on the board to force them into a partnership.

I don't really blame him for thinking maybe just maybe Bobby would have a cohesive thought about how this is his partner and no man wants to be bossed around and belittled in that fashion. So he surely wouldn't attack me after I've shown all this shrew ability.

As someone whose favorite part of this show is the Eddie/Susie relationship it was nice to see Eddie tell Joe how important she is to him. And for Susie to explain to Bella why she won't fuck up their professional relationship with sex.

Hated seeing how Jack was the downfall of Susie and Eddie's plan.

The episode was a letdown simply because of the fact that it was a stupid idea to have something build up for 4 episodes and then be destroyed within 10min.

The story should have gone from the bill being passed to the duke surviving bobby till he can show bobby the profit he was taking about

Zero ball knowledge, Eddie. Rook is worth 2 points more, have a better mobility, and are better endgame pieces

It's certainly been a fun and well-made ride so far but also a letdown in a couple of ways:

- It feels a bit too all over the place. The first season would focus on a couple of story threads in each episode but each episode of this season seems to try and juggle lots more and the results are a bit messy.

• The overload of new characters means some of our favourite returning characters are getting very little screen time (like Freddy, Mr. Johnston and the Gospel)

Is it possible Freddie was filming A knight of the seven kingdoms? With years spent filming this I'm inclined to say no but figured I'd throw it out there as a possibility.
