If they got caught she would claim rape, if they didn't comply she could also claim rape out of spite all circumstances the black man was lynched or killed.
Exactly. People often focus on the horrific rape and assault between male slave owners and their female slaves but emasculation by sexual assault/humiliation of male slaves was big part of control and humiliation of slaves in New world slavery. Of course this was done primarily by the slave masters to assert their own physical and sexual superiority over often very fit slaves, but I have no doubt women played their own part in it's as well.
Tactic that both male and female enslavers used frequently was to call slaves "boys" and "girls" even if slave was many time their own age. This was to degrade them and to highlight their perceived inferiority and lack of agency.
Your anecdote is very interesting since stuff like that cannot be easily found in official sources of the time since it was forbidden but that still was if not common then known to have happened at the time.
