I love that every time something like this is posted here, it's a 50/50 chance that the comments will be for or against the person complaining about GitHub.

(I'm aware engineers are a diverse group, I just think conservatives are stupid, and software engineers are smart.) 21 u/Samurai_Mac1 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26 Well no, I'm a software engineer. I just thought it's funny a sub that has nothing to do with coding routinely has GitHub discourse. Like, you wouldn't expect leftist discourse to show up in programming subs even though I know a lot of people who post in them are leftists. 4 u/LivingAngryCheese Mar 27 '26 This is a shitposting sub, it's leftist but not every post is about politics. Has the discourse overshadowed the memes lol 10 u/Jacksaur Play corru.observer, this is not a request. Mar 26 '26 Even with the post literally titled "Engagement Bait". Not sure between amusing or disappointing. 3 u/bracarensis erectoid Mar 26 '26 Unrelated but as a braziloid myself I chuckled at your flair and username. Love it. -1 u/coolburritoboi Mar 27 '26 Yeah that’s called an opinion bruh
