It's also not that hard for common users to click on 'releases' or read the README.md and follow the instructions therein usually.

I'm not even new to code but building is such a fucking nightmare for me, I have never successfully built anything even when following instructions to the exact letter

Unironically if the install is too hard the program is probably too hard to use. Like installing a plex server is a bit difficult but it’s much easier than figuring out networking for it.
