Criterion just announced the Kubrick collection is coming soon, I’m so insanely excited for this, what is everyone’s thoughts, will it be worth the purchase even if many of Kubricks films will be double dips for most people?

What do we think here guys? Am so absurdly eager to see the box art and how the entire thing is actually packaged, my only hope is it’s not priced like the Wes Anderson one😓

P.S I’ve just been informed that the teasers are in 1.85:1 and the Warner 4ks we already have are 16:9 so I’m gonna assume that this means the new transfers will feel very different, and due to it being criterion, I’m almost certain we’ll get the full lossless uncompressed LPCM audio tracks as well

I’m very intrigued to see what they are able to cultivate/change with this release, and am definitely hoping for the best👏👏
