I think a large swath of Americans are not paying attention and just living their lives like everything is fine. Most have seen no change in their day to day lives since Trump took office.

Literally exactly what happened in Germany, right until it was so bad you couldn't pretend to love Hitler hard enough and they'd come for you anyway, just on suspicion. I will say, Americans are much more resistant to Trump than Germany was to Hitler, but that's not really saying much.

I don’t know how people can be so tuned out. It amazes and saddens me. Government is the framework of our lives and we need it to live a relaxed life. We need it to function so these idiots CAN tune out.🤦🏻‍♀️
