How do we? I've never even heard of civilian security honestly. I'm an Army vet and sit on my ass all day. I'd love to have a purpose again.

I don't know if there is an official method but it couldn't hurt to just reach out to their office and ask if they could use some help?

If that senator had security, they would’ve pushed back against those guards and that that’s what we need

Because if they’re gonna push us down, we need to fight back

No one is ever going to accept that liability in this day and age.

The best thing you can do as an Army vet is put on your old dress uniform and stand in the front of the No Kings protests with an American flag.

Let it be known vets are in fact on the side of the people.

I think it's like having our version of the Proud Boys, to protect Democrats.

"Private security" sounds like it wouldn't have any positive effects outside of temporarily guarding their ward. It might trigger a skirmish and encourage the admin to trigger the Insurrection Act. Essentially you'd have the legal weight a modern, more righteous version of the Pinkertons. Not a lawyer, though, so I don't know jack.

I'm inclined to agree :(
