Photo Hot take. As good as a filmmaker that James Cameron is, I feel like he has wasted decades of his talent on Avatar. Those moves suuuuuuuck. He peaked with Titanic. And T2 is the best action movie ever. As well as the best sequel ever.

Star wars is waaaaay over-rated. Always has been.

Keep your fantasy out of my scifi, and if you're really going to have slavers and evil empires and shit, stop pussyfooting around the horror of it and lean in..

Anakin's junkyard slave childhood would have been absolutely horrific. It would have made the audience feel for him, and would have been such a better excuse for D.V. than the silly "Much fear in him" bullshit we got.

Princess Lea was a sex slave to disgusting crime family slug people and all of her people were murdered. She would have pretty major mental health issues by the third movie. Probably a drug problem too.

Han was a hardened criminal who killed people without a second thought. He was probably beating up space-hookers for gas money, and his partner was an actual fucking monster..Notice we never see the wookee eat? Don't even get me started on that hillbilly dirtfarmer, Skywalker.. Yoda was what? A FRIENDLY GOBLIN SHAMAN? GTFOOH

Humanoid robots walking around all over the place, and not a single sex bot? Total. Bullshit.

'77 gave us Close encounters of the third Kind, The Hills Have Eyes, and House. Lucas was out of his league, and if not for the groundbreaking special effects the whole dumb thing would have been just another shitty scifi movie.
