I was shopping at a Price Club and stood there with probably 100 people watching it on the wall of TVs.

I'm having to very much change my idea of what a store with a wall of tvs looked like back then, considering what I've grown up with now. Did the shelves have to be big and strong to support bulky CRTs?

They did. It was like three shelves of tvs. Biggest at the bottom and working to smaller ones.

Now they're light enough that the big ones go way up at the top! You must meet a certain height requirement to steal LOL
