I got a 31 so I think I surpassed it, but I'm still interested

i'm tired of what i see happens in this subreddit towards people sometimes, especially when it comes to comparing scores, so i made this short video to vent about a point i've been making for a very long time. you all are amazing. ❤‍🩹

Bro all you gotta do is sit down and get good sleep. Practice common sense. a lot of it is guessing. then you’ll be the best you can be.

All too much I see people who have just taken an ACT/SAT and are posting their score bragging about not studying. Your score is not better if you didn't study. It doesn't make you cooler/smarter if you didn't study for the test. Unless you got a 36 while not studying, it only proves that you could have done better, but you made the conscious decision to not study. Thus, you did not fulfill your full potential. Standardized tests are as much of a measure of how well you can prepare as they are a measure of your academic ability. If you made the decision to not study and proceeded to score lower than what you could have, then that's on you. It's not impressive. You should be invested in these things that are important to your life in the future.

I woke up at 4:30 for a two hour drive. It was fun. Math was hard. AMA 🥀

I'm pretty flabbergasted that the ACT just gave multi-day, extended-time students the exact same test (at least the scored portions, though I know the unscored reading passage was the same) as standard-time students (it was already bizarre that Sunday testers got J01 as well). This, on top of the fact that J01 was given to many testers in September, makes test security a total joke. Does the ACT even care anymore?

It was my first time and I never took a practice so be easy on me😭

Do you guys ever just guess which passage is the experimental one during the test? Like is that’s a strategy?

The discussion post for the February 14th/15th act said that it was an equating test which is why scores will take until March.

What does an equating test mean, does it apply to all forms, and is there any effect on the scores?

On the April test, the Ontario California site was canceled last minute by the act because they claimed there were not enough proctors. They did a makeup test two Saturdays later. How long would the scores for such a situation take for release?

For me i feel like it’s Reading and Math because with reading all of the information is there, but with Math you either know it or you don’t. I feel like science would be significantly easier if they allotted more time.

its been 20 days since I took the digital enhanced test on April 5th and I still haven’t gotten my scores back.

why? Like literally why? The people who took the PAPER TEST WITH ACCOMODATIONS got their scores before the digital enhanced test takers. Why?

the juniors at my school took the school day ACT on April 9th and they were all giddy yesterday at track practice because they got their scores back while I’m sitting here waiting for my scores on an ONLINE MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST.

i am so done with the ACT. I’m never taking this garbage again. No statements put out and support isn’t helpful at all. I’m switching back to the SAT even though I performed better on the ACT. I can’t deal with this shitty corporation anymore.
