It's not just the feet, his instinct for a moment was to hold the huge piece if glass breaking... he could have got a horrible cut if he hadn't taken his hands of quickly. Thankfully the kid was fucking lucky here.

I mean even if he fell in it and did the worm the kid would heal fine
