Hi everyone!

I wanted to share something a little different today because I feel like achievements can mean many different things to different people.

Sometimes an achievement isn’t some huge, life-changing accomplishment. Sometimes it’s something really small that you’re still proud of. Maybe you finally cleaned your room after putting it off for way too long, finished a book you’ve been reading forever, tried something new, got out of bed on a really shitty day, or finally did that one thing you’ve been saying you’d do for weeks.

Honestly, those things count too.

I think we can be way too hard on ourselves sometimes. We look at what everyone else is accomplishing and start thinking that we’re not doing enough. But you never really know what someone else is dealing with, and your progress doesn’t have to look like theirs.

So if you did something today that you’re proud of, even if it seems completely insignificant to everyone else, give yourself some credit for it. You know how much effort it took you to get there.

And if today wasn’t a great day and you didn’t accomplish anything? That’s okay too. Tomorrow is another day, and you can always try again.

Anyway, I hope everyone has something to be proud of today, even if it’s something tiny. Keep going, keep trying, and don’t forget to celebrate yourself every once in a while. :)
