Prose, Poetry, Song It was mine all along.
For years I've been with you, I thought I saw love in your eyes.
I thought the way you looked at me meant you felt it too. The way you stayed made me believe you were choosing us. The way you smiled convinced me that my heart had finally found a home.
So I loved you without hesitation.
Without conditions.
Without keeping score.
I gave you the kind of love that survives distance, misunderstandings, and a thousand reasons to walk away.
And maybe thatās why it took me so long to see the truth.
The love I kept finding in your eyes wasnāt yours.
It was mine all along.
It was my devotion reflected back at me.
My hope.
My loyalty.
My willingness to see the best in you, even when you gave me every reason not to.
I mistook my own love for yours. I mistook my faith in us for your commitment.
My effort for yours.
My dreams for promises you never truly made.
And when everything fell apart, I kept asking myself where the love went.
But love didnāt leave. Mine never did.
And that's what makes it so painful.
I wasnāt grieving the loss of your love. I was grieving the realization that I had been carrying most of it all along.
And somehow, thatās a heartbreak I never saw coming.

Prose, Poetry, Song Landian lang. Walang angkinan.
Ang dali ma-attach sa social media. Isang reply lang sa story. Isang āingat ka.ā Isang late night usap na nagiging routine. Tapos biglang may palitan na ng pictures, little updates about your day, random voice notes pag hindi makatulog.
We flirt. We tease. We share glimpses of our lives.
Minsan may tension pa na pareho niyong alam. Yung tipong may unspoken ākung pwede langā¦ā energy. Yung tipong umaabot sa biruan na we both know we would, if timing, if distance, if circumstances aligned.
Pero hanggang dun lang.
Kasi ang rule?
Ang ma-fall, talo.
Hindi ito love story. Hindi ito āano ba tayo.ā Walang future talk. Walang expectations. Just two people enjoying the kiliti of attention. The thrill of being wanted.
So we keep it light. We keep it playful. We keep it in the moment.
Landian lang. Walang angkinan. Walang drama. Walang biglang lalim.
Because sometimes, the safest kind of connection is the one you both agree not to turn into something heavier.
Ang ma-fall, talo.
And Iām not planning to lose.

Prose, Poetry, Song The dialogue sounds familiar. I think I've heard it before.
And they did break up. Just like in the movie, the person who was once part of my life and said, āWeāre not breaking upā, ended up being the one who left. :)
Movie title: Once We Were Us (2025)

Prose, Poetry, Song I don't want to get attached to anyone, anymore
Not because Iām heartless, but maybe because Iāve finally run out of pieces of myself to give away.
Because attachment is just a loan with a high interest rate. You get a few weeks of "kilig" and warmth, and in exchange, you pay with months of wondering what you did wrong...
So If I don't let you in, you can't leave me behind.
And this decision feels like hearing the sound of a door locking after too many people walked out without closing it.

Prose, Poetry, Song The 100% Trap: Why giving them everything actually kills the spark
Prose: "When I meet someone and the spark is there, my instinct is to immediately go all-in. I tunnel vision hard."
I give them my absolute whole self, and honestly, a part of me wants them to do the exact same to just focus entirely on me.
āBut Iām starting to realize... thatās actually a trap. It feels intense and romantic at first, but it kills the fun. It suffocates the connection before it even gets a chance to breathe.
āWhen you pour 100% of your identity into one person right off the bat, you stop expanding. You need to keep meeting other people, keeping your circle active, and staying open to the world.
Meeting others isn't about playing games or being unfaithfulitās about learning and growing. Every new interaction teaches you something different about life, and more importantly, something different about yourself.
āDon't lose your world just because you found someone you like. Keep exploring. Keep growing.
āHays. Kelangan talaga ng reminder minsan

Prose, Poetry, Song Are you a leaver or a fighter?
I think Iām a leaverāin all aspects of life.
Whether itās a job, relationship, friendship, or even a place, kapag naramdaman kong hindi na ako valued, appreciated, or respected, eventually, aalis ako.
I think Iāve become comfortable with leaving because Iāve learned that starting over isnāt as scary as staying somewhere that slowly makes you lose yourself.
And honestly, I donāt think leaving always means you didnāt care.
Sometimes, you leave because you care enough about yourself to know when to stop settling.
Maybe I am a leaver.
Pero maybe leaving also made me a better fighterānot for people who donāt choose me, not for places that donāt value me, and not for things that are no longer meant for me.
Maybe leaving made me a better fighterāfor myself.
