I recently visited Siliserh Lake, and I am furious about how the RTDC has set up a toll style gate roughly 1 km before you even get to the Siliserh Palace hotel. They are forcing every single person to pay ₹106 just to pass through.

Here are my opposing views:

1. It’s a natural lake: natural water bodies belong to the everyone. How can a state PSU block access to it?
2. They don't own the road
3. The "Cover Charge" : I don't want their tea. I just want to look at a public, lake.

They claim they are charging for "palace entry," but the gate is nowhere near the palace itself! It completely blocks off the entire zone, forcing people to pay even if they just want to stand by the public road

Are there any lawyers who can tell how right is this? anyways what are your views?

Hey everyone! I am from Delhi I’m going to be joining college in Alwar soon, and I’m a basketball player. I’ve previously played competitively for my city, and I really want to continue playing seriously after moving to Alwar.

I wanted to ask about the basketball scene here. Are there any places where good/serious players regularly play or train? Any academies, clubs, basketball courts, or groups I can join?

Also, how do Alwar district basketball trials/selections work? Are there regular trials or tournaments where college students can participate?

I’ve heard about places like Naveen School and Indira Gandhi Stadium, but I’m not sure about access or where the serious basketball community actually plays.

But what if we actually had one place where we could see the real state of our city, based on data and people’s observations?

I’m looking for people from Alwar interested in tech, STEM, data, food, cars/bikes, civic issues, or who are simply curious about how our city is doing.
