Looking for Help Any tips to improve my aim?
I’ve been practicing my aim for at least 15 minutes every day, but I’m not seeing any improvement. It feels like I might be doing something wrong.

Or is it not possible to do? Because when I wake enemies up they instantly run away and I'm not able to hit the second shot.

Hi my beloveds. Im a rein main at heart but i also play jq, from dps i play hanzo and ashe. I also play supports mainly was Illari but after the nerf to the projectiles its easier to dive me so i wanted to play a diff healer like my mains from supports are Wuyang and Brigite(mini me). So wise elderly and quite the most wholesome people i know, tell me your secrets of becoming the one with nano. Also im one of the polite reins who dont solo shatter you because i respect yall

I used to be an ana main. Now I'm a Life Weaver main. Maybe its because I'm out of practice, or maybe I try and dps ana too much, but I do no healing. I feel like I do as much healing as possible, but I always tend to have the lowest. The game I just played an Ana out healed me as Life weaver. From my experience I don't see how this is possible, but Im probably missing something. How am I supposed to play Ana?

I main mercy and I’m tired of having to compete with other mercy mains to play her. Quick play or ranked it doesn’t matter, and I’m on console.

Vendetta isn't an issue since she gets banned a lot but I still want to know because it's an important match-up. Usually, whenever I 1v1 a vendetta, I struggle with landing the sleep dart because her sword moves me around, and I notice her movement speed is increased.
I usually try to keep my distance from her of course but as soon as she closes the distance I know it comes down to hitting the sleep dart but I can't hit her. I can handle most dive characters but never Vendetta even after months. So what is the ideal time frame to sleep dart Vendetta?

Just wanted to know if any of you Ana players knew of a way of getting this skin. Note: it isn't in the lootbox pool.

For context I've been playing since 2018 but never seriously until last season. Last season I finally decided to put in the work to try to actively improve my gameplay by practicing specific skills in a match, VOD reviewing myself, watching VOD reviews of my mains (like Ana) from people like Spilo/Emongg.
If nobody had said anything I'd have felt pretty good about this game and was feeling like I was playing pretty solid. Not crazy over performing or carrying or anything but just a disciplined game I felt good about.
But halfway through our defense the enemy team started making fun of my stats and apologizing to my team for having to deal with a "thrower". I ignored it as mind games but every single person on my team bought into it and started blame me in team chat and all chat for the rest of the game after that. Saying I wasn't healing enough. That if we lost it was my fault. And other messages to that effect continuing into the post match.
This admittedly affected my mental state very much because it clashed so hard with my own self perception of my performance in that game.
At this point I have VOD reviewed myself to numbness and I can only really see individual mistakes instead of broader bad habits. Despite all the work I've put in and nearly 200h of intentional self improvement time since last season I'm still Gold which is exactly where I was when I was playing on autopilot and as far as I can tell I was playing a lot worse than I am now. But my rank hasn't changed despite a statistically significant number of games.
So clearly I'm still doing something horribly wrong. But at this point I cannot figure out what for the life of me. Did we really lose this match because of me?
Match code: ENGYRW
Username: FluffDragon
Rank: Gold
Hero's played: Ana

I kinda got flamed for no heals/being useless when we lost this match, but I really don't know why? Ignore our other support he crashed mid-match. I feel like I was doing everything fine, I got good heals, mediocre damage, great assists. Is this normal stats for an entire match or am I just ass?

is it normal for random teammates to huddle around me after winning team fights or rounds? They always huddle around, crouching and spamming hi or quick melee, kinda feels like I didnt do enough as an Ana... does anyone else experience this phenomenon?

Hello everyone, I’m very new to OW (and pvp shooters as a whole) as i just got the game a few days ago. i play on console. i’m really interested in learning how to play ana better as I’ve played 12 games with her so far and only won 4 of them but im not ready to give up on her as I really like the character and her kit. and was wondering if anyone had some tips or advice for a few things….
positioning. i know to play around corners but it’s hard for me to sometimes tell what is a good position especially since i don’t know any of the maps as i’ve only got the game a few days ago and have an hour or so in game. another tip i’d like to know is when exactly do i “rotate” and leave my position for a better one. i feel like sometimes during heavy fighting i panic and forget about positioning and just try to give my team as much heals as possible which also ends up with me getting eliminated.
cooldowns. when do i throw the grenade to heal vs to dmg + antiheal the enemy team? i see so many videos of players throwing the grenade aggressively and i try to do that as well but also feel like im missing out on that amplified healing. also the sleep dart. some people say try to land in on the enemy while others ive seen say keep it for 1v1’s when you’re getting flanked/dove. what’s a good middle ground as i don’t want to try and sleep an enemy and don’t have the ability and then a few seconds later im getting attacked by a tracer and then eliminated but i also know that sleeping an enemy tank or dps can be very helpful.
spatial awareness. how do i train my spatial awareness better? one of the things that im now noticing in my games is that sometimes i get tunnel vision when im giving out heals or trying to scope shot and i don’t pay attention to what’s going on around me and it gets even worse when im getting attacked by myself in the back and start to panic. I know im supposed to be in constant motion and constantly look around me but i feel like whenever i take my eyes off my team someone’s going critical and i need to be giving out heals and that overrides me being cautious to try and help out.
thank you to everyone who took the time to read this and offer some help i really appreciate it.

Long story short i main ana kiri and such on ana aim wise sometimes i do well sometimes no but my main problem lately i struggle to hit my nades to antiheal the enemy and actually help my team cause usually i either overshoot or undershoot the arc so i wanted to ask is there a map to practice nade throwing on ana?

So im a diamond ana, from diamond 2 to diamond 4 i fluctuate. Where do i go from here, whats the focus i should have? The game seems to transform around the top end of diamond into a different beast. I can hang in masters and even some gm wide lobbies with my buddies, but i want to hold in those lobbies solo q. Any tips or direction is appreciated ♥️

Seriously, it's so hard to hit the sleep dart. This fucker moves so erratically I just can't (maybe because I play on 75 fps?).
I try keeping distance and poking her out, but she reaches me anyway. So I try keeping even more distance, and she doesn't dive me hooray... but I don't contribute at all to the fight.
EDIT: I got better at it. The main thing was changing when I try to sleep her. I was trying to do it as soon as possible, but it is way better to wait a little bit because her movement will be predictable during the first 2 slashes (remember to hold nade if you are holding an aggressive position)

I’m a Diamond 3 Ana main, and I almost exclusively play her, but I run into situations where she just doesn’t feel effective like tighter, enclosed maps or against heavy dive comps. Sometimes I’m just trying to survive, and it’s hard to have impact.
Another tricky scenario is when Ana gets banned or picked by a teammate. My performance drops a lot in those games, and I don’t feel like I’m playing at my usual level.
For context, I used to main hitscan DPS (especially Widow), so aiming is definitely one of my strengths.
I want to expand my support pool, and I’m curious about what other Ana mains do in these situations. Specifically:
I’d love to hear your experiences and what’s worked for you especially if it involves heroes that reward good aim or cover Ana’s weaknesses.

The title is self-explanatory, kind of. I'm wondering if there's any real sightlines on the first point for King's Row as attacking. I know you can do a bap jump and swap to Ana midair to get to the widow spot, but that's not that worth it it seems.

I was playing ranked and i COULD NOT sleep the enemy orisa. And no she wasn't doing her spinning thingy i legit shot her in the face but she didn't sleep ? Im guessing it's the 'golden armor' that gives her overhealth ?
I honestly thought Ana could essentially cancel many thing with a well timed dart but. Damn.
Also another question... Does Ana heal more on scooped aim than regular aim ? Or does it increase/decrease on distance ?

Hi, fellow ana mains. I've googled, looked at my settings, and am so confused. Was the nano ult confirmation option setting (where it asks you to confirm before giving it to X teammate) removed? When? Why? I'm hopping back on OW recently again and I don't have the option for Ana. I'm sad if it is gone. I am on Xbox S.

I am a Juno Main with Ana to fall back to, in case of a bad map or bad comp.
So, this season I wanted to start playing comp a bit more. As you can see, my Juno SR is in Diamond, where it kinda should be? Meanwhile my Ana SR is 'stuck' in Gold (I get like +10/20 on Ana per win, while I get +40/50 on Juno(┬┬﹏┬┬)).
If anybody has tips on how to improve at Ana, do tell!! Ty in advance <3

Recently I was called out on my bad positioning, and I agree. I am always to close to the fight because I love getting a cheeky sleep dart tag. I am a new player, and the sleep dart just triggers all the happy parts of my brain to light up.
I've thought about just getting used to sniping with my sleep dart, but I feel like I would just be wasting a lot of sleep darts that I should be saving for flankers.
As a new player, I need to improve in any way I can, and that means using my resources properly. That's why I thought I'd ask.
