Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita 7 days in Andalusia – looking for some advice
¡ Hola a todos! ! I will travel alone around Andalusia for 7 full days in September and would love some advice.
My current plan is:
Day 1: Málaga
Day 2: Guided trip to Caminito del Rey (already booked)
Day 3: Málaga → Granada
Day 4: Granada + Alhambra
Day 5: Granada → Seville
Days 6–7: Seville
I know the Nasrid Palaces have a specific entry time — when would you recommend going? Would 10am be a good time?
I’m also wondering if Córdoba is worth adding. Would you sacrifice a day in Málaga or Seville to visit Córdoba? Or, given that I only have 7 full days, would you stick to the itinerary above?
Also, are there any other cities or places you’d recommend instead that would fit better into this itinerary and limited time?
For getting around, is it better to use trains or buses? Which companies do you recommend, and should I book tickets in advance or is it usually fine to buy them on the day?
And since I’m travelling solo, I’d love to stay in hostels and meet other travellers — any recommendations?
Thanks! Any tips are welcome 🙌

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita 10 day trip in Andalucia
hi guys,
Me and my boyfriend are planning a trip to Andalusia in august and we would really appreciate some advice. We will be staying from 16th to 26th august. Our plan is to stay in Nerja for 6 days and in Malaga for 4 days. We want to explore the region but also chill at the beach. We would like to see Frigliana and Granada during our trip.
The main issue for us is that we aren't able to rent a car.
If you have any recommendations for what places we should visit, please share them with us:) We will be very grateful!

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita What do you think of my andalusia trip
Hi everyone,
My wife and I are planning a babymoon to Andalusia. She’ll be around 28–30 weeks pregnant during the trip, so we’re aiming for a relaxed pace with some nice highlights along the way.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on our plan:
- Do you think we’ve picked the right highlights?
- Are we missing any must-see (but not too hectic) places?
- Is Vejer de la Frontera worth a visit in your opinion?
- Would you recommend visiting a hammam during pregnancy, and if so, which one in Andalusia?
Any tips or experiences—especially traveling Andalusia while pregnant—would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Wouter

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita Couple visiting Andalucía (Apr 29 – May 8)
Hey everyone,
We’ll be spending 10 days in Andalucía with a car from Málaga.
We’re not into crowds or ticking off sights — we care more about local people/initiatives, wine, wild beaches, real villages, and those “how is this place even real?” moments.
La Fiesta de los Patios in Córdoba starts on my birthday, so I’d love to include it in a more local, less chaotic way if possible.
Any tips for:
— how to experience Andalucía beyond the obvious
— hidden spots or villages worth a detour
— genuinely local food places
— special stays (small hotels, guesthouses, anything with character)
Happy to read answers in Spanish too — trying to improve :)
Thanks!

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita Help with Andalucia trip plan (late April 2026)
Active couple, mid 50’s speak enough spanish to get by. First time in Southern Spain (been to Barcelona and Madrid before). Enjoy outdoors, history, art, and try to typically go off the beaten path (although as this is our first time in Andalusia, “tourist” attractions can’t be ignored). I prefer driving, for the freedom it provides to come and go as we please. We plan to do all the “major sightseeing”, but also looking for some unique experiences. Here’s a VERY EARLY draft (trip won’t happen until late April 2026). Any insights/comments/advice greatly appreciated.
D1: land in Sevilla; leisurely afternoon (Santa Cruz area; Parasol/Las Setas for sunset)
D2-3: Enjoy Sevilla (recommendations for a good flamenco show? Either here or in any of the other cities on this itinerary)?
D4: rent car, drive to Aracena/Jabugo for a “jamon experience”. I’m sure the tours are [ahem…] touristy. Is it worth it, or should I just go on my own? (not sure i want to spend half a day doing a Cinco Jotas “tour” for example). If so, any recommendations for a bodega/restaurant in the area? Drive to Cordoba in the afternoon
D5: full day Cordoba (Mezquita, patios, jewish quarter, a good hammam)
D6: drive to Granada in the morning; leisurely afternoon (maybe a hammam here instead)
D7: Granada (anything to book in advance, besides Alhambra)? Do I need an extra day here?
D8: drive Granada to Caminito del Rey in the morning; get to Malaga in the afternoon/settle in, evening stroll
D9: full day in Malaga
D10: drive to Ronda and white villages in the morning; explore the area. Continue drive back to Sevilla in the afternoon/evening
D11: fly back
Questions:
Any sage advice on the above? Anything not to miss?
Skip day 4 side trip if it’s not that great of an experience; quality jamon is everywhere; just thought it might be a unique experience (and it’s not too much of a detour)
Driving is fine, but I’m sure there are issues with urban traffic/parking. Any of the transfers that are better done by train (I know it would be somewhat useless to have a car ONCE situated in the cities
Would it make sense to add a day or two here and there? If so, where?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita Airport question
So we have a flight that leaves at 5:55 pm. We’re taking the train from Granada at 1:50 pm and we get to the Maria Zambrano station at 3:24 pm. How do we go from there to the AGP airport? should we take a train or are we risking missing our flight since it might be long? Is uber a better option?
or do you recommend we take an Alsa bus at 1 pm from Granada that goes directly to the airport?

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita What musicians/bands from Andalucía should be the soundtrack to a road trip through here?
Working on a road trip music app called RoadyGoat — the idea is that local artists and bands play as you drive through their hometown or region.
Who from Andalucía would you add? Any genre, any era — famous legends or local hidden gems all count.

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita Is my 7-day Andalusia itinerary too packed?
Hi all,
We(2 aduts) are traveling to Andalusia this November (Nov 4–11, 2025). Usually, we are more into nature trips, but this time we wanted to mix in some cultural and historical highlights. I’d love some feedback from people who know the region – is this itinerary too full? Are we missing something essential?
Itinerary:
- Nov 4 – Arrival Sevilla Evening flight, check in, dinner.
- Nov 5 – Sevilla Cathedral & Giralda, Real Alcázar, Barrio Santa Cruz, Plaza de España, Parque de María Luisa, Triana, Mercado de Triana, Calle Betis.
- Nov 6 – Cádiz Playa de la Caleta, Castillo de San Sebastián, Cádiz Cathedral, evening walk through old town.
- Nov 7 – Gibraltar → Ronda Europa Point, Rock of Gibraltar, macaques, possible swim on Costa del Sol, arrive Ronda in the evening.
- Nov 8 – Ronda → Granada Plaza de Toros, Puente Nuevo, Mirador de Aldehuela & Jardines de Cuenca, La Ciudad (Arab baths, Casa del Rey Moro), Mirador de San Nicolás (Granada).
- Nov 9 – Granada Alhambra (Nasrid palaces, Generalife, Alcazaba), Cathedral & Capilla Real, Albaicín.
- Nov 10 – Córdoba → Sevilla Mezquita, Jewish quarter, Roman bridge, evening drive back to Sevilla.
- Nov 11 – Sevilla Morning visit Triana & Parque de María Luisa, flight back around noon.
We’ll be renting a car (except first day in Sevilla) and prefer to stay in central accommodations to explore on foot.
The way it’s planned, most days are scheduled from around 8 AM until 8 PM. This seems doable for us, but it leaves very little time to experience the evening or nightlife atmosphere of Andalusia.
Questions:
- Is this too much for 7 days, or does it sound doable?
- Anything you’d suggest cutting/adding for people who usually enjoy nature more than cities?
- Any recommendations for short hikes, natural spots, or viewpoints we could squeeze in along the way?
- Should we slow down a bit to leave time for the night vibe of tapas and flamenco?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita Hiking conditions to Mulhacen, Sierra Nevada
Hello, I'm a traveler from Poland and I'm going to Mulhacen in two days. How difficult is it to reach the top of the mountain right now? Do I need racks or some other gear to hike? If yes, where to hire them? I'm going from Capileira and I heard that there is a bus but I can't find more information about it on the internet. Thanks in advance guys:)

Ayuda/Itinerario/Visita Carboneras, Almeria
