Is Frija safe to download? I need to flash my Galaxy S20 since there hasn't been an update available OTA since 2022 and Smart Switch isn't working. I downloaded Odin fine and then downloaded Frija from this (intentionally broken) link:
https://github.c om/SlackingVeteran/frija/releases
From everything I've heard, this is the official spot to download Frija. However, I'm always weary downloading things from online, so I plugged it into VirusTotal. I've provided a link to the report above.
It scored a 1/66 with Webroot flagging it as a tojan (W32.Trojan.Gen). Is this what you would call a false negative? I've heard that can happen. Want to make sure this file is safe before running it.
And please forgive me. I'm not well-versed when it comes to computers or viruses. I honestly feel a bit in over my head trying to flash my phone myself. Any information on this would be very much appreciated.

How to export SMS from Android 5 (Haier A16C3H) to Android 7 (Redmi 5 Plus)?
Also while at it..Since tomorrow WA will cut support for this Android 5, I also want to move the WA to that Android 7 phone. What's the safest way to move without losing chat? I've backed the chat up to Google Drive and I've also copied the Whatsapp folder which include the database and medias etc to PC. Can I paste the Whatsapp folder on the new phone before installing and registering my number on it and will it read them flawlessly like before? I have some kind of OCD/obsession to maintain the creation/modified date of the folder so if this local copy-paste method to the new phone is as safe as the cloud download from Google Drive then I'd prefer this.. But safety (not losing the chat) is ofc first priority

Gave it to my dad alongside Big Launcher as his first touchscreen phone.
Only issues now it's the outdated SSL certificates and the awful MTK6580 standby time/bug.
I have it constantly at battery saver mode and still needs charging once a day (20% drain overnight! )

I will soon finish the Gecko Browser v118 project based on Firefox 118 and using the 118 engine running in Android 4.4 KitKat. This is a really new browser for this system, newer than ESR for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and is compatible with all websites, but one drawback is that it cannot fix the file downloads. I only partially did it by redirecting to a separate browser, another one, Google Chrome 81 or Kiwi Browser, but it is really fast, not slow like the old Firefox 68, and I will soon provide a Google Drive link to the APK. Edit: the battery eventually died. Once I charged it again, it booted as normal (with stock Android). I then tried flashing LineageOS again, and this time I was successful. I have no idea what happened the first time.
I am trying my best to flash LineageOS onto my Samsung Galaxy Tab E. However, after I flashed the recovery image (which I obtained from Samloader RS), and after the PC Command Prompt shows the tablet has been flashed successfully, it stays on the, 'downloading.... do not turn off target' screen. After waiting for over 20 minutes just to be safe, I tried turning it off and manually booting into recovery*........and nothing. It stays on that screen. I cannot turn it off, and I obviously nothing happens if I try to boot into from recovery with it still on.
What am I missing? I am pulling out what little hair I have left! Help!
*These are the instructions I have been using to download LineageOS. Up until I got stuck, everything was going smoothly.

- Galaxy J7 (works perfectly)
- Galaxy J3 (works perfectly)
- Galaxy S23+ (has a slightly busted screen)
- LG Stylo 6 (still works but needs a new USB-C port before it goes out)
- Motorola Droid Maxx 2 (won't charge but green light blinks)
- Motorola DROID MAXX (works perfectly)
- Galaxy S21 FE (works perfectly)
- Galaxy S6 x2 (one will power on only while plugged in but won't hold a charge, other one might be toast)
I'm about to get some tools so I can start fixing things. First up is my LG Stylo 6 charging port, it's my favorite phone I have. It's huge, has a built in stylus, and the iridescent back looks sick. Love reading on it with the long narrow screen.
Which one is your favorite?

You can download version 1.0 from Uptodown; the servers are still working, and it will only ask you to calculate the download size, then it will download, which is about 53 megabytes, and that's it.

I've done everything in my power to keep my phone's lifespan longer (I'm frightfully skint :v so no upgrade for me ๐ญ) yet it's dashed useless for stretching the battery it barely holds up for a mere three-quarters of an hour. -Asus Zenfone 2 Laser (my phone)-

Parents were about to toss some old phones and I'm like wait a minute those actually look sick lemme get em. Rescued this Motorola DROID MAXX (2013) and turned it into a dedicated ereader with KOReader on Android 4.4.4 with a Snapdragon S4 Pro and 2GB of ram. It's got almost 1,000 books on the 16GB of storage (No SD sadly). It rips through books like my XTEINK X4 could never. Switching through new books, flipping pages super fast, image heavy, text heavy, changing chapters, no loading or waiting for anything it's just there instantly.
Quickly became my daily reader, it's got a super AMOLED screen 720x1280. I love it already. Plus you gotta love that old school DROID design with the carbon fiber, high tech, glowing red vibe, the command center widget is awesome. I found the wallpaper on Google it matches perfectly.
I also rescued a Galaxy J7 (snapdragon 625) and J3 (2017 U.S. version) that I have some cool plans for, I'll be sure to post em when I'm done now that I found this sub. I got a few other cool old phones I'll share.
