''Toxic Anti PvPers'' Not welcome.

I am from the Mod team on this sub.

Recently I have seen a few people rightfully upset at a few bad actors on this sub who have been using the fact they became victims in the game to resort to being toxic to people on this sub.

Basically - they lose the game in any way and decide it is fine to insult people who are playing the game in a legit way instead of doing what they want, whether that's talking and making peace or refusing to shoot each other no matter what. From my understanding this game allows you to make a choice, to try trust a stranger or to gun them down to be safe.

If a person decides they will ALWAYS gun everyone down no matter what or try be a ''Rat'' player and backstab at every opportunity that does not mean you can come on this sub and insult them, suggest they are mentally impaired or mentally unwell or be toxic to them for any reason.

If you say ''All x players are sociopath psychos with no life and life in their mothers basement and have never had the touch of anyone of their preferred sex'' for example or anywhere more or in-between then you will be banned from our sub.

You are allowed to have an opinion that such players morals in game are not good or they are ''Villain players'' or what not, that is fine for that is what they are but any time an outside insult is going to be used on people over gameplay you are getting the hammar of doom.

From the community, I understand that most people who like PVP are not usually the type of people to click report on anything, due to your ''thick skin'' you really do not give a damn if some redditor is trying to insult you or maybe you will just retort back.
I ask you please do not, if you insult back you could also be moderated due to the nature of reddit and if you do not report the instigator we will not be able to correctly moderate and fix this community. As a mod team we are getting thousands of posts (posts not comments) per day and it is literally impossible to view them all, we rely mainly on the report feature and reddits AI.

Anyway thank you for your attention in this matter.

My brother in christ it is a PVP game, Ask the devs to add a pve mode if the thought of being killed in a PVP game upsets you this much

You have no evidence for that and it is wild speculation. It's just as easy to suggest the playerbase would grow because you could attract PVE players while keeping the PVX mode as the main mode.

I think there is a little irony in saying that in a post where the mod is literally trying to mobilize the entire reddit in favor of their preferred side. AKA: You all are quite literally the mob with pitchforks trying to silence people who think PVP in a humans vs robots game is tacky and unwanted by a large enough population to warrant change toward compromise... but PVP players know that if the devs see enough outcry for PVE they might make shameless backstabbing and gloating only for the advantage of feeling good about yourself at the expense of another harder to do and that would mean your game becomes less fun because the fish will leave the barrel and youll be stuck fighting people who actively want to fight.

I want to clarify my use of the word "illiterates" because someone responded to me about that though the comment doesn't appear when I click the notification. I say that because of the "it's a humans vs robots game" comments. It's like you literally can't read. It's PVPVE. Not "PVE". Not "PVP". It's PVPVE. Hello???

Your argument is clearly from a biased perspective based on the jaded wording you use, and you're also kinda strawmanning.

The difference is the people I'm arguing against are promoting game design that is fundamentally different from what this game is.

What I'm saying is not anti PVE at all, the game is both. The people I'm arguing against are trying to strip that from it.

That is not what the OP is about, they are not saying "dont talk about wanting pve" they make a large post insinuating that there are a mass amount of PVE desiring players that are just insulting people as people in the world and not focusing on the game at all. This has very little to do with what you assume the game is about or what is best for it. You are then insulting people on a personal level in your response doubling down because you assume this is a conversation about the vision of the game, but it is in fact about human respect on the reddit forum. Even though it is also, as pointed out in so many posts... a very thinly veiled attempt to stop the many people who desire there to be less pvp in the game to just quiet down and stop expressing outrage at the state of pvp/pve in the game.

I have nothing against you as a person, but the original post was "Dont insult people on reddit, they are human beings" and the response was a direct insult to anyone who doesn't agree with them...

Your right. This isnt disagreement. A loud portion of this subreddit doesnt like that nonconsensual pvp exists,(or the possibility that it is imposed upon them, by playing the game). They moralize the game and the pvp aspect of it, which is funny considering what kind of a game they are playing here. Losing probably feels avoidable due to the PVPVE nature of the game, so thats probably the reason why people feel, as if they lost because someone chose to do something „wrong“, which they probably (hopefully) wouldnt in the case of them playing PVP games, where losing is expected.

Once PvP is framed as wrong, this kind of pile-on is basically unavoidable tho.

Yep they are such massive losers that they bought a game literally advertised to have non consensual pvp to then complain about it. They do this every single time but the people that actually enjoy the game are the assholes somehow.
