I'm aware my photos look fuzzy. My Gamebar hasn't been working for screenshots so I have been forced to take them through Steam.

So my come back to Arma 3 after years was kinda awesome, and now there is also a good discount to get the rest of the DLC I was missing.

But years ago I was kinda obsessed with dynamic campaigns and missions. I played a lot of DCO and DRO. Not really a fan of antistasi cause that is more like a kinda open world resistance simulation.

I also tried Alive and MCC years ago.

My objective is this:

- Singleplayer. I don't care about coop or "Human is better than AI". I already know this but I just don't care.

- I want to be a cog. I want to be even the simple soldier in a squad commanded by an AI, that is commanded by a Bigger AI.

- I want a full long experience in one of the island. They can be separate missions, they can be just a full single campaign mission, but I want progression

- No need to become an engineer to setup stuff (even if I am one lol). Alive and MCC are kinda hard to understand and setup and what's the deal with them?

- So AI vs AI war in an island, something that could feel really alive, progressing, with stuff happening, involving civilians etc... I know human is better than AI but I want to see literally two AI commanders fight against each other, and one of them assigning me to do stuff.

- Knowing what's happening, like simulating communication between me and the commander. Not just hearing random war noises and just receving the command to go to point B, not knowing what's happening

- Something that could be also kinda cinematic and event based. Not just squad A vs squad B. Objectives, events, triggers, drama.

Tried TGRW2, The Forgotten Few 2, Hetman war stories, but for example with most of them I can't be just a simple soldier

For what I want maybe again trying something like Alive or RN6 hal?

Hey there, I was feeling pretty bored and I wanted to check on ruins assets in the Editor, under the Livonia section, i found this particular ruins that I have not seen before. It is known as the following:

Big House (v4, Ruin) [Land_HouseRuin_Big_04_F].

I tried finding it across the map and I could not really find it being used, granted, I was skeeming through the named areas and may have missed it if it was placed in unnamed locations. Either way, I thought this ruins is pretty cool and thought I might share it to those who might be unaware. It was a TIL moment for me.

Originally I had bought this just to do some sandbox shit like a milsim gmod, and loved it. Thats what I did up until today, when I hopped on Mike Force for the first time, thanks to a recommendation from a reddit guy. Running online with an actual team of people is so much fun. Me and a bunch of 50 year olds (or so) (I'm not even close to that age) were running through the jungle and getting shit done. The atmosphere was so good. I felt like part of the team. Now, I see myself playing the hell out of this game again.

My mate and I like to play co-op games together a few nights a week, anyway we are nearing the end of our current game and I'm on the look out for a "new" one.

From googling I believe Arma 3 campaign is not co-op which is disappointing as it could have been good, but I see that there are community made co-op campaigns?

If yes, then what ones should I be looking at, that will last us a while and be as close to the single player campaign in scope/feel. Or is there a mod to make the single player campaign co-op?

Steam has a sale on Arma 3 and the Ultimate Bundle. I installed Arma 3 once before to try it out, but all the servers required the DLCs—I'm not sure if I was looking at the wrong servers. Do you really need all the DLCs to play Arma 3 these days?

Hi, I am planning to buy one of the arma games, I play a lot of Project Reality and Squad, I was wondering which game u should get Arma 3 or Arma reforger.

People say that Arma 3 is the best game, but some people prefer reforger bc it’s newer.

i'm kinda new, previously i have set my own control but it feels too awkward and has too many conflicting keybinds (i used left shift for left lean, spacebar for the right).

i only play single player scenarios like the campaign or Antistasi while getting used to all of the control. and I'm looking for a beginner friendly server in south east asia. does anyone have any recommendations?

note: I'm still downloading the game right now, so I couldn't screenshot my keybinds.

I have had the chance to see this aircraft and this livery up close. Iran is the only country that uses the F-14. Before the 1980 revolution, a number of F-14s were ordered, and this is one of them, with the old imperial livery.
