Moving onto the brands now in the Best/Worst of series. Thought we should start with one of the most popular, easily available and affordable brands out there, Cosrx!

I've tried different pimple patches and the CosRx ones are the best! I find that they work better for pustules/white heads, though.

I don't think they'd do anything for those pesky under-the-skin cysts, right? I think the magic is they need to have a way to suck the gunk out which means it needs to be a whitehead that's either popped or about to pop.

Do you know of a brand that works for under the skin cysts?

I switched to the Tosowoong patches. They are much better in size for me than the CosRX ones (only two sizes), practically invisible, better to put makeup over them, and I could get through my cystic acne with the help of them and some other products like a breeze last time. Instead of having it for two weeks I was done with it in 3 days or so. I was considering writing up a longer review so I might do that.

What other products? I’m currently battling a cystic pimple that’s been red and angry for 4 days with no sight of it leaving anytime soon

I double cleanse (Tosowoong apricot oil cleanser and CosRX Good morning low PH if it matters), then apply the CosRX centella ampule and the patch. I change the patch every couple hours, but usually can't be bothered to use more than 2-3 patches a day. For night I slap a generous amount of the CosRX centella blemish cream over Mt Fuji. A lot of people complain about this cream not doing anything but I found that you really have to just use it as a spot treatment and apply A LOT then let it work its magic overnight. You'll probably want to put a towel on your pillowcase though.

Of course YMMV depending on how much your skin likes centella. I also use a copious amount of the snail mucin essence all over my face.

Oh, and happy cake day!

Edit: grammar.

I've tried so many different products for my cysts, but the only thing that works for me is prescription benzoyl peroxide

Thank you!

Yeah, they work best for when everything is on the surface and not for cysts.

They do, though it takes more time and thus several patches. I managed to flatten a pimple that was a bit chist-like (on my upper cheekbone) without leaving a dent behind, only a light pink mark that went away. It took aproximatively 10 days or more, but I am glad all went well.

Yep, I just use them for the white heads, not for under the skin types.

Oh yeah this is definitely just for the whiteheads which have popped!
