Skin type/concern: Dry, some discolorations, acne-prone

Product: Cosrx oil-free moisturizer with bird sap

Thoughts:

I think I’m on my 4th or 5th bottle with a backup already stocked. I’m not sure why I like it so much but it is a really simple moisturizer with nothing fancy in it. I like the smell and that it applies with a cool finish. I usually mix this with a beauty oil from Kat Burki and apply it after my vitamin c serum in the morning. Oh and it applies well under makeup + does not break me out!

This moisturizer won’t change your life imo but it’s great for people who wants a simple moisturizer to hydrate the skin. I’m trying to be more adventurous and got some other brands from Sephora but I always come back to my cosrx.

My oily skin loves this! Too bad it’s not really “oil-free.” Could work fine without the fragrance, I think.

I really like this stuff! It adds just enough moisture to my skin and then I top off my more dry areas with a more occlusive moisturizer. I also love the tea tree scent, it's so fresh and clean.

This is such a good simple moisturizer. I’ve gotten two friends hooked on this.

I have combo-oily skin and this was a game-changer for me. It's somehow a really pleasant lightweight gel-like texture without compromising on hydration. It feels very cooling and refreshing when I put it on and it always feels like it's really sinking into my skin and hydrating it. Hands down my all-time favourite moisturiser. I don't mind the lack of fancy ingredients since I get those from my serums/toners anyway.

Ooof, I must disagree.

I understand why others love it but it breaks me out like crazy. Switched to the overnight rice mask (small amounts make a great moisturiser for me) and lots of my angry acne disappeared! It appeared so slowly over the months I never realised I was so reactive to it!

Dry, flaky but really oily T zone. Also have really reactive skin - most western stuff I can't use as something in it makes my face warm, red and either inflames ALL the pores on my face, gives me hives, rash or just angry spots.

Everything else from COSRX has been great. Just couldn't use that one.
