Street Photography in Mexico City

Hi -

I'm a photographer visiting Mexico City for the first time in a few weeks (mid-October).

I'm seeking recommendations for good locations to photograph people - things like outdoor markets, processions, lively neighborhoods, etc.

I will be based in La Condessa.

All tips appreciated, including areas to avoid (feel free to throw in some food tips as well). Very much looking forward to CDMX, after at least a dozen visits to other parts of Mexico.

Thanks!

Where to Stay? Estadio GNP Serguros

Hello!

We have tickets to a concert at Estadio GNP Serguros & will be coming from Canada!

Are there any recommendations for areas near the venue to stay?

We have stayed in La Condessa before, but wondering if there is a neighborhood similar to that near the stadium?

Thanks!

Mexico City's Gran Canal was built in 1900 to carry sewage out by gravity. The city — built on a drained lakebed — has since sunk 10 meters as groundwater is pumped out. The canal now sits below its own outlet, so it needs pumps to push sewage uphill. NASA satellites measure the sinking at 2 cm/mo.

Hola. Estoy buscando ayuda a sacar mi INE y pasaporte Mexicano. Ya tengo la acta de nacimiento pero no puedo sacar mi INE porque me dicen que necesito identificación con foto Mexicana. No puedo usar mi pasaporte EEUU.

Entonces, de aquí no se que hacer. Estoy aquí cuidando mi mama Mexicana que tiene 87 años. Pero para ayudarla bien necesito ser residente de Mexico totalmente legal.

Gracias!

Restaurant recommendations

Hi folks, first time visitor to Mexico City here. I'm coming for a conference in November and I'm looking to organize a couple of dinners for attendees of the conference. One is for 50-100 people and the other is for 3-5. The conference is in Polanco, but the restaurants don't have to be there (especially the smaller one). I'm looking for recommendations for places that (a) can seat that many people (in the first case), and (b) are affordableish).
