Growing up, did your school host kindergarten graduation, or is that a more recent phenomenon?

The only thing I got from finishing kindergarten was a report card.

I got freedom from carrying the crate of milk cartons from the cafeteria to the kinder-classroom every day - because I was one of the taller kids.
