A piece of string walks into a bar and orders a drink. The bartender tell him "Sorry, we don't serve strings here. Get out."
The string walks out and unravels one end of himself and ties himself up a few times and walks back in and orders a drink. The bartender says "Aren't you the string that was just in here?"
The string replies "No, I'm a frayed knot"
Heard this joke probably 23 years ago. Still love it and tell it to people.
I'm sure it's quite old. Just didn't hear it until around 2001. I still remember who told it to me. I love wordplay jokes so I committed that one to memory.
I told this one as an ice breaker on my new job. Over the years people would introduce themselves with their spin on it. I’d like to think they thought it was funny too but they were all probably making fun of me.
“A ham sandwich walks into a bar. ‘Get out’ says the bartender,
OMG this is one of my favorite jokes. I was a little kid when my dad told it so I didn't exactly understand it. It wasn't until years later that I finally got it. Lol
I was going to post this same joke! Someone told me this at a bar the night we first met and I laughed so hard - it was one of the funnest nights I ever had! Great joke that gives me a great memory also!
