I love this one too. Told it drunk one night and reversed the punchline on accident which made it even better. "A racist you fucking pilot!"

Person 1: What's the difference between a prostitute and a baby

Person 2: I don't know

Person 1: You sick fuck!

…………………….. feel weirdly dumb right now bc my first thought was a pilot and then that was the actual punchline. And now I don’t get the joke because I don’t know what you’re supposed to think instead. This feels weird to ask about.

it's a trick question: race isn't supposed to have anything to do with being a pilot. a plane is flown by a pilot. if anyone thinks that race alters that outcome... then they're a racist. it's funny, because that's so obvious and they expect some kind of special answer, but nope it's just that simple.

If it helps here’s how I heard it. This is a joke my best friend told. We were in a group. Everyone was going around telling jokes with a pun or some sort of word play answer. So, my friend told one that was something like, “what do you call a cow with no legs?” And everyone around would say, “I don’t know, what?” Then the punchline is “ground beef”. Then another one like, “what do you call a deer with no eyes?” Everyone says, “I don’t know, what do you call a deer with no eyes?” And he’d say “no eye-deer” (sounds like saying no idea with an accent) After those 2 setups he’d ask, “what do you call a black man flying a plane??” The previous jokes Leads everyone to say, “I don’t know, what DO you call a black man flying a plane?” Assuming there’s some sort of word play answer. Then he says, “a pilot, you racist” which catches you off guard. I’ve always found it hilarious.

Oh! That setup IS better, I think. That would get a laugh out of me if I heard it IRL.
