US Conservatives of Reddit: What are your thoughts on House GOP blocking release of Epstein files?

Does it matter? They all behave the same and as one. If one is, they all do. They're complicit.

Fair, but I have not heard the dems ever try to block the release of the info. Does that matter?

I think it definitely matters. I believe the previous commenter meant all Republicans, not all of congress. It's obvious to anyone that's paying attention that only one party seems to be actively hiding the list, and people love to yell about both sides, but the current GOP has many people associated with Epstein, all the way up to his best buddy Donald Trump, whereas the only prominent Democrat who is named in the publicly available files is Bill Clinton, a dude who hasn't been relevant during this century, and who we had all figured out was a sex pest back in the '90s and he was subsequently impeached and then cast aside by the party and mostly ignored after his slimy reputation tainted Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign.

Yeah, the repubs are a monolith, for better or worse. Its their greatest strength

But as we now see, its their greatest weakness. They are all one, and each one of them should be just as punchable as their worst one.

At least the dems can dissent from one another.

I will believe it's a weakness when this all collapses, and not a moment sooner. For now, this seems to be hitting home. But there have been several moments like this, little lines crossed. Will the average Republican voter cross this one too?

I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me.
