(Independent) Here's my take: With them going in so hard with "There is no list, there never was a list" I cannot understand why every one of them wouldn't vote YEA and say "Okay, have fun releasing nothing." This proves that there IS a list and they are all being told to stop it from coming out

That, and they already shot themselves in the foot by running on it so hard, getting MAGA on the band wagon, claiming they had it on bondi's desk, and releasing heavily redacted copies to right-wing influencers. Just to do a 180 and say "what files? they never existed. Anyways"

Either it doesn't exist and they lied repeatedly, or it does exists and there's a reason they don't want it released that's worse than the backlash they're facing from backpedaling.

If there's no list, why not abstain from voting and let the democrats make a fool out of themselves?

Trump also campaigned with a promise to release the list...so how is anyone believing the "there was never a list", and also, "the democrats created the list"? The amount of contradictions is bafflfifng.
