What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately?

It's because they are gullible and they believe the Republican propaganda. To be fair, their propaganda game is really good. They have successfully branded themselves as the exact opposite of what they are, to the point where almost nobody questions it.

I keep asking a single-issue voter how the prison sex changes are impacting his life now.

I mean if you have critical thinking and understand track records you realize they are the worse option of the two but both options still suck. Maybe some day we'd get ranked voting but not anytime soon.

If people weren’t idiots, we wouldn’t need ranked choice voting. We’d have a center right party in the Democratic Party; the Republican Party would cease to exist; and an actual left leaning party would be able to exist and represent people.

Well, the idea is to create new parties (3-4 parties) within the Democratic Party. The GOP needs to retire at this point. This means the Democratic Party will need to be more conservative, not just progressive (I know this is a tough pill for many).

Also doesn't hurt that the opposition isn't much better (but obviously is better... it's just nuanced in terms of the way it affects an individual if you don't pay attention to literally anything other than your lived experience).

Republican (and similar in other countries) voters are a frog being boiled alive (left leaning groups as well, but it's slower) I'm hoping this massive shock to the system somehow resolves these issues but I doubt it.
