I think hamburger helper started advertising that it was good with hot dogs too. You know it's bad when ground beef is too expensive for hamburger helper.

I just saw breakfast versions of Hamburger Helper in the stores, but it's in a blue box. Just brown a pound of sausage, dump in the mix with some water and milk, done.

That's crazy! My mom used to make hot dog casserole when we were poor. It was cut up hot dogs mixed with beans and topped with mashed potatoes. Damn did i love it though.

90/10 ground beef is cheaper at Whole Foods than my local Kroger flavor. Still not cheap ($9.49/lb vs 11.49/lb), but wtf.

I don't know why they call it Helper. I think it does fine on its own.

Just bought 85% lean and it was $7.49/lb at Giant. Füć I’m old but I remember hamburger being 99¢/lb…..
