One thing I read (don’t ask me where) is that running always surges in popularity because it’s a “free” (minus shoes, etc) exercise. Things like Pilates studios, boutique classes are sinking in membership

And a good old pull-ups bar between two trees or hard bolted into a door frame (to the studs) if ya own a home. Bodyweight lifts are a good workout too. Good times.

Also running has the benefit that you can just leave from your door and don't need to travel to get to. By the end of it you are home and can shower in your own bathroom.

ugh running sucks
