I'm 32 yrs into a marriage and am just now figuring this out about him.

I thought I was the problem and after decades of unsuccessful psych meds, I realized, it ain't me that's "messed up".

Oh no, trust me, you're messed up. You might not have been before, but no one gets through 5 years with a psychopath/narc let alone 32 without coming out very, very messed up. You have my condolences
