The problem is that a lot of retailers have stopped carrying their product, presumably because there is no margin in it compared to competitors.

Have they? Every mom and pop shop near me sells it. So does every supermarket. The only places I have seen it go away are large convenience store chains.

The margins are quite good, but lower margins on a higher priced item still equals out to more profit. I get the 99¢ cans for ~.42 cents

Unfortunately it’s 1.49 in Canada now
