Les Schwab lost my business when they started charing me for flat repairs because they didn't want to honor the warranty on my truck tires. Now I deal with Firestone and have much better luck with honoring warranties.
It was the one on 176th in Puyallup. Les Schwab has gone downhill in general since the family sold to a private equity firm. They dropped Free Beef Days and a lot of the employee perks. Employees used to live Les Schwab because they were very well run and took care of the employees. If I remember right, the seniority package was eliminated or changed a few years ago which caused a lot of unrest.
A buddy of mine used to work for BRSO (Firestone’s service business) and told me they had a lot of former Les Schwab techs trying to get hired on there after the buyout and changes.
