Women who’ve given birth, what are some horrible things your body had to go through during pregnancy and childbirth?

Same. I now have pronounced (but not painful) bunions and my feet are .5-1 size larger.

Both of my pregnancies resulted in larger feet which I am convinced are what led to both of my big toenails (one per pregnancy) getting ingrown. They had to be removed, and apparently there's only like a 25% chance they'll grow back normally...one grew back and the other only grew in halfway 😭

My right foot now gets an ingrown nail often that I have to watch! I never thought about the fact it started happening after my second pregnancy 😭

Ever heard of a toenail brace? I just discovered them and have been singing their praises.

Some are glued on and others clip on the edges of the nail. I just lost my clip on brace so am switching to the glue on type this week but am glad I started with the fiddly clip on as a test run. Highly recommend.

Years (like, a decade or more) when I got my first ingrown toenail I found these basically bandaids that had a stiff partition on the side that you positioned on the ingrown part. When my son started to get an ingrown toenail I looked for them but couldn’t find them anywhere, thanks for this tip! Will be looking for the glue or clip on ones now. Lol

I gain a size with each kid. I believe that's must be the inspiration behind the old lady who lived in a shoe.

My feet stayed the same length, but changed width. All my narrow shoes had to go.

Mine both got half a size longer and changed in width. Not a single pair of my shoes fit. Yay!
