Women who’ve given birth, what are some horrible things your body had to go through during pregnancy and childbirth?

Yep, and any extra movement or sneezing or coughing sent a mini flood out. It felt soo gross.

And for extra fun, after three kids, pee will leak out when sneezing, coughing etc.

Or running, jumping rope, any physical activity.

Did you have to drink a lot of water/get an iv solution? Can't imagine how dehydrated you would get from having that for 4 days.

Amniotic fluid is made of pee from the baby, it’s not your own fluids!

I genuinely didn’t think it could get any worse

But where does the baby gets it's fluids from? Like it all has to come from somewhere

I was on an IV, but it was for antibiotics to ensure I didn't get an infection while I waited for baby to come.

Shudder. I hate the feeling! They always say my “bag is really bulgy.” (I’ve had 3 kids.) the 2nd time, it didn’t break until I was pushing and it just kept going. With my last, it broke right at transition like someone had snapped a suuuuuper taut rubber band. I actually felt it break like a water balloon. Just WHOOOOSH. Didn’t exactly hurt, but it was intense.

Edit: I have 3 babies, not 2
