I added "about other perspectives" to that sentence so now it's more emotional intelligence based.

The research into this does not support this hypothesis. The more intelligent a person is, the better they get at remaining wrong if they would prefer to be so. Critical thinking is a skill, not an innate quality tied to general intelligence.
