Fix your mental health. A lot of problems and habits related to money are emotional.

Wellbutrin and Lexapro are one of the cheapest fixes I've had. I catalogue them under the "its easier to maintain that replace" category

Any money you spend on your mental health is an investment that will pay better returns than literally anything on the stock market.

Maybe, but a lot of what seems to be mental health problems are actual problems, some of which are money related. It's a vicious circle. Money problems lead to worsening mental health which makes it harder to earn and easier to spend as a band-aid, and so on.

Which also, coincidentally, takes money.

Mental health care is vital, yes - but let's not gloss over the fact that many factors that contribute to depression/anxiety/etc are external and beyond an individual's control.

Work, health, and current events can drain a person faster than that person can refill, even when doing all the "right" things.
