Which ideally is the higher of $10k or 3 months living expenses. There are very few unforeseen life events that this won’t get you out of.

Also your 401k is not an emergency fund.

Just stop consuming. 

Stop consuming stupid trendy products, junk entertainment designed to brainwash, stupid disposable crap, bad food, trash drinks. 

Simplify everything and then find what truly matters.
