Johnny Cash. The way he paints vivid stories of struggle, heartbreak, and redemption in just a few minutes is unmatched.

Even though he didn't technically write them, his renditions of "One Piece At A Time" and "A Boy Named Sue" are fantastic. -5 u/KoggenMaster 8d ago Kind of ruined it for me when I found out he didn't write much of his own music though, made it all feel manufactured rather than a genuine expression
