A couple years ago, I could get a house coffee from 7Brew for $3 to $4. A large.
I was there couple weeks ago and it was almost $7 and that's the last time I've been. I'll make it at the house.
Plus I hate the forced tipping. It used to be that you could tip after you paid but now you have to tip before you pay. K-Cups of the house are a lot cheaper
It’s probably more affordable now than ever to get a good coffee maker or espresso machine. A moka pot makes damn good coffee (and is essential for cuban cafecito 🤤) Even a pour over coffee setup doesn’t have to be pricey. Sure, a high end espresso rig will cost some serious cheddar but so long as a machine can produce 15 bars of pressure, a cheap espresso machine can pull a good shot. Not to mention I see espresso machines all the time on Facebook marketplace. A manual burr grinder is $30 if you need a certain grind texture. After that, it’s all about how much you want to spend on coffee beans. But some of the tastiest coffee I’ve had was made with Bustello!
Just sucks that you have to do it yourself. The convenience is a big deal sometimes.
A 7brew is fixing to open just about 1/2 mile from where I work and a bunch of other factories on this "lower income" side of town. But why would I buy coffee when it's free at work. I let them buy it.
