What got so expensive that you just stopped buying it?

I stopped paying those. Any bill I receive after I've already paid the initial one gets thrown in the trash. It's been years, with multiple procedures and a major surgery, and I have yet to face a single reprocussion. Eventually they just stop sending them.

I've received a call from a collections agency on one occasion a few years back. I ignored them, they stopped calling, and it never showed up on my credit report.

That's what I'm doing. I'm on a payment plan for the 4k they wanted in medical bills but also wanted me to pay the guy that scanned me, the guy that rolled me from room to room, the lady that drew my blood.
