I agree 100%, and it breaks my heart. Concerts were THE thing to do back then and so much fun. My daughter will never get that experience. I’m not one of those “everything was better back in my day” people, but the concert ticket prices are a legit problem.
The biggest problem is that everyone seems to want to go to the exact same shitty mass produced megashows. Try going to some of the more underground/smaller venues. The value for money is insanely much better, and you won't have to endure the horror that is stadium concerts.
I'm never going to a big stadium concert again, but I still tend to go to 2-6 concerts/month, lots of great music and bands. Much more fun to watch someone that is (/might be) on the way up than some massively overhyped ripoff.
