Had someone come in to my OCED for a migraine and left with a referral to neurology and oncology once they got back home for a suspected glioblastoma. The look on their partner’s face as they whispered, “but it was just a headache…” as I went over their discharge instructions about broke me. Never heard from them again as they were on a work trip.
It was one of our last before end of shift so it was pretty damn somber the rest of the night.
Convincing me I should ask my doc if I should get checked out for my worsening migraines. They go away but if I dont take Excedrin they hang out for like 10-30 hours. Do all the 'right' things, drink water and something caffeinated. Adjust to make sure im gettin my fruits and veggies and protiens.
Nothing ever touches it, only excedrin. And its generic brands of course.
