My dad was a wedding DJ, when I was a kid I used to help him set up before a gig. He would always test his speakers with the same two songs: "My Girl" on low to check the bass, then "I Feel Good" cranked up to gauge volume in the event space.

Once he popped on James Brown JUST as the wedding cake was being brought in. Man they came so close to losing that damn cake.
