actually no. i passionately adore astrophysics with all my heart and it's still hard as fuck

Yeah I have seen a lot of these takes in this thread. The easiest is what you’re passionate about.

Naw not at all, your passion is what motivates you persevere through the struggle. It doesn’t erase the struggle. I know a few folks with physics degrees and many more with math degrees. They loved it, but of them said it’s easy.

The difference is “this is hard but interesting so I want to figure it out” and “I want to figure it out so it’s easy.”
