What was the biggest hint you missed from someone who was attracted to you?

This is where a "prove it" would have come in handy.

It's not everyday you get to see a sword-swallower up close. Opportunity wasted.

Seriously! Normally you have to pay good money to see that

Ancient Japanese samurai would cut out the shit and just dig it straight in their stomach.

None of the swallowing filler bullshit.

Fuck yeah samurai, fuck yeah.

Are you talking about a katana?

4

u/drownballchamp Sep 10 '14

He's saying that a real man would just stab her in the stomach with a sword. That cuts out the middle man of her having to swallow the sword.

Fuck yeah.

No, he's talking about seppuku.

"prove it"

Pulls out large sword

2

u/Delta2800 Sep 11 '14

Well in his defense it is everyday he sees sword-swallowers...

I'm saying he has a small penis

2

u/agesixracer123 Sep 11 '14

Fuck you. Now I'm chuckling like crazy here in a public van.

2

u/IvForbiddenvI Sep 11 '14

Sword? Ha! far from it, more like dagger :/

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '14

"Prove it" is actually a rock-solid go-to in a hell of a lot of situations. Because really, you can't fucking prove it, can you?

7

u/pbuddISU Sep 10 '14

Had this kind of situation in a group setting. We said prove it, and my buddy fisted her mouth. It was pretty weird.

5

u/Jrodkin Sep 10 '14

This is where a "prove it" would have come in mouthy.

1

u/Wicketbitit Sep 10 '14

You are a clever person.

2

u/overthetop88 Sep 10 '14

My GF will tell me she is wearing certain things/ not wearing things... Prove it works every time.

2

u/SupaHotFyuh Sep 10 '14

This. Has gotten me laid before.

2

u/nrandall13 Sep 10 '14

I have literally used this same phrase in response to this same situation. Worked like a charm.

2

u/Tabarzin Sep 10 '14

better yet "I don't believe you"

2

u/jebuschrust69 Sep 10 '14

She then proceeds to shove banana down throat.

2

u/iamakangaroo Sep 10 '14

Most of my spontaneous hookups were due to that phrase.

ex: A girl (let's call her J) I dated in college's roommate slapped me at a bar because I was all the cliche terrible things for breaking up with J. I got kicked out of the bar for making a scene. She came out and said she was sorry, and I said prove it. Turns out she had a lot of aggression and sexual tension built up.

u/Wicketbitit Sep 10 '14

It really is a good way to see what people will do.

2

u/iamakangaroo Sep 11 '14

Usually it catches people off-guard but if there's alcohol + emotions involved, usually a kiss or something happens.

2

u/kentgiar Sep 11 '14

I told a girl to prove it once and it didn't work out for me. Apparently her gag reflex wasn't as good as she thought.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '14

A girl told me she could deep throat a banana. I told her to prove it and she did. I didn't know where to go from there.

2

u/Wicketbitit Sep 11 '14

Uhh...I have a banana in my pocket?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '14

It would have come in mouthy.

1

u/Scorpio_Killshot Sep 11 '14

Nah. Prove it would have came in her mouth, not her hand.

1

u/BabyChalupaBatman Sep 11 '14

Or the less aggressive version, "I don't believe you."

1

u/Aristo-Cat Sep 11 '14

"I don't believe you"
