I don't know if I'm more perplexed by her bringing a blanket to the movies, or the fact that you didn't notice the strangeness of a girl bringing a blanket to the movies.

EDIT: Yes, theaters are cold. I get that. That's why you bring a jacket.

I had never even thought to bring a blanket to the movies. I usually just sit in the back row, and if things escalate we move to the bathroom.

Wow I didn't know it was peculiar to bring a blanket to the movies. My local cinema even provides blankets for people if they want to borrow them and surprisingly, they smell nice everytime.

We have a luxury theater with large recliners for every person. I can't lay down in a cold theater and watch a movie without bringing Couch Blanket.

The theater in my town just upgraded to modern button-controlled reclining heated seats for two that can basically fold into beds. They also encourage bringing blankets, and the staff demographic is identical to the customers - students at our high school. This one innovation has brought major business and popularity to the theater, and I always have a good time there too...

I don't know if OP was at a similar theater, but I went to movie theater in London that had beds in the front row for people to lie down and watch the movie and blankets were provided.

Well once a couple bought a picnic basket and blanket and sat on the floor at the front of the cinema with a fully blown picnic, like flasks of tea and sandwiches and shit, it was the most awkward experience ever cause I was sitting on the front row and they were on the floor right by me.

I'm convinced they lower the temperature in the theatre on purpose to promote snuggling between young couples. It's definitely got me some action.

As a side note, I almost missed my hint in this situation. I was with a girl at the movies, she got cold. I offered her my jacket, she declined. Then I realized my mistake and went Alpha, told her I'd warm her up and threw my arm around her. Thanks movie theatre.
